Arkane Studios' sci-fi thriller Prey could be receiving a new announcement regarding expansion content in the near future if a recent tweet is any indication. The official Prey Twitter account recently tweeted out a simple GIF that begins on a Transtar sign before panning over and pausing on the moon. The caption for the tweet reads, "Do we really know what's out there?" which seems to be implying that something is on the moon for us to go search for.Of course, the easiest conclusion to this tweet is that Prey might be receiving some much-desired expansion content that will see us traveling to the moon. If I had to take a guess, I would say that this potential DLC might allow players to take a shuttle from the Talos I--the space station that Prey takes place upon--to the moon. That's just my own hypothesis based upon this simple five-second GIF, though.Prey originally launched back in May of 2017 to generally positive critical buzz. Here at DualShockers we gave it an 8.5/10 in our review of the game and found it to be a highly engaging romp through a world that feels real.  Though it didn't sell as well as some might have hoped, those who played and loved the game--myself included--have been holding out hope for some sort of DLC. Hopefully, this tease is just that. You can find the tweet in question from the Prey Twitter account below. If any news is revealed in the coming days or weeks regarding any sort of DLC for Prey, we'll be sure to let you know.
