It seems another surprise coming from Ubisoft has just been leaked by a Guatemalan retailer that listed Prince of Persia Remake for Nintendo Switch and PS4.

A new entry of Prince of Persia is probably as much anticipated as a new entry of the Splinter Cell series from Ubisoft. A few months earlier, Ubisoft revealed a VR escape-room game set in the world of Prince of Persia series, but now a new leak has been arrived, referring to a remade version of the original Prince of Persia game.

Max, an official Guatemalan retailer, has listed Prince of Persia Remake for PS4 and Switch with an estimated release date of November 2020, the same month that Assassin's Creed Valhalla is set to be launched. The interesting part is that you can now pre-order the game from the retailer website, which makes us take it more seriously.

Just a few minutes after the leak has gone viral, Jason Schreier, a well-known video game journalist at Bloomberg, tweeted something about the leaked surprises of Ubisoft, which could be another proof for getting hyped for a remake of the Prince of Persia series.

If it really turns out to be true, it would be so exciting to see which entry of the franchise has been chosen for the reboot, though a Prince of Persia Collection remake would be the best thing that comes to mind.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is the latest mainline entry of the series that was launched back in 2010 and didn't receive favorable reviews from the media. That said, Ubisoft once attempted to launch a new entry for the series several years earlier, but the project has been canceled.

Ubisoft will be streaming another Ubi Forward event later this year, and if there is a Prince of Persia remake in the works, we would probably see more about it at the next event.
