Developer and publisher Double Eleven, in partnership with Introversion Software, have announced that the Escape Mode DLC for Prison Architect is now available on PS4. Xbox One fans won't have too long to wait, as it will launch there on August 31st. Not wanting to leave the Nintendo players out of the loop, Double Eleven have also said that Escape Mode will launch on the Switch in a few weeks.

The Escape Mode DLC was first announced last year, but in case you haven't heard of the popular Prison Architect before, you basically take on the character of a prisoner and endeavor to escape the penitentiary, which is either built by yourself or others.

Prison Architect's previous DLC pack, labeled Psych Ward, was released last summer on PS4 and Xbox One, where players were given the ability to control brand new content like an introduction to the criminally insane for players to manage, new staff, and room types.

Prison Architect's Escape Mode DLC is available now on PS4, is coming to Xbox One on August 31, and will head to Switch at a later date, so stay tuned for an announcement soon.
