If you've been wondering when the next DLC for Introversion Software's latest game Prison Architect would be arriving then today is your lucky day. The developer, along with the publisher Double Eleven, have officially revealed the first details about Escape Mode, the next add-on for the prison management simulator.

In the expansion, just as the name suggests, players will take on the role of a prisoner. Your goal is simple: escape one of the built by either yourself or someone else.

The DLC will also add other content, however, details about this have not yet been revealed.

Escape Mode is set to be available sometime next year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One since the PC version technically already has this content. As of the time of this writing, a more specific release date, or a price for the content, has not yet been announced.

Back in June, the game's last DLC was revealed and released, which was titled, Psych Ward. In it, players were given the ability to control brand new content like insane inmates, staff, and room types. That expansion set players back only $3.99.

Prison Architect was originally released on PC on October 6, 2015, and later came to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 28, 2016.
