With September just a few months off, it's not surprising that we'd hear more about the upcoming racing game, Project CARS 2. We recently heard about the title's season pass and different digital versions for pre-order. We also were treated with a release date (September 22nd) and a new trailer back in early June. Now we can all marvel at the dozens and dozens of cars available in the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 versions.
Even if you're not a driving enthusiast, it's hard not to be impressed by the sheer scope of this list. Even a pedestrian such as myself appreciates brands like BMW, Porsche, and Cadillac. Some of the classics like the 911 and Spyder are getting some love here. There's also a few unexpected additions such as a the Volkswagon and Mini offerings tucked in with some of the other major players.
Bandai Namco and Slightly Mad Studios are going all out with Project CARS 2 as the car list this time round more than doubling the choices from the original game. And with cool features such as weather effects from the four seasons, a 24 hour race-cycle, and LiveTrack 3.0 technology which shows a 'lived-on' course (tire tracks, mud tracks, snow tracks).
