Today, developer Slightly Mad Studios and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment released the official launch trailer for their upcoming racing simulator Project CARS 2.
The trailer, which is viewable in stunning 4K quality if your device can handle it, showcases some soothing and calming gameplay from the title, something which is fairly unusual from racing games nowadays.
Project CARS 2 is set to be officially released in just a few days, on September 22, 2017, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A Digital Deluxe Edition of the game is also available for an extra $30 USD, which includes the Season Pass and the Motorsports Cars Pack. Meanwhile, players who pre-order the game will receive access to the Japanese Car Pack, which is set to include two Honda cars and two Nissan cars.
Last month it was revealed that ten Ferrari cars would also be a part of Project CARS 2, something that excited many fans, as the brand was notably absent from the first title in the series.
Meanwhile, back in July, the game’s full line-up of tracks was officially revealed, which includes day and night cycles, four seasons of dynamic weather, and a number of different environmental hazards.
All of that said, below you can check out the new aforementioned trailer:
