Grounding studio's aerial battle Kinect title, formerly dubbed 'Project Draco,' has been officially retitled Crimson Dragon. Specific gameplay details remain scant, but the game has been pitched as a rail shooter, and the overarching goal since its inception was to create a Kinect game about flying.

The project is being led by Yukio Futatsugi, creator of Sega's Panzer Dragoon series, and his influence is apparent in every screenshot. If the team manages to utilize the Kinect well this game could bring a dash of fantasy flavor to the shooter genre, which would be a stylistic breath of fresh air for players who have seen enough rubble strewn cities and waist-high walls in their time. No release date has yet been announced, but Kinect users can expect to see this title on Xbox Live Arcade before the year is out.
