Recently, Press Play, the developer of Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, asked its fans to vote on which if three game concepts they would most like to play. Today, the company revealed that the project Knoxville was selected as the winner.
Knoxville recieved over 46% of the votes in the poll, and was the clear winner over the other projects Dwarka and Karoo. To further give players a voice in the game’s development, Press Play will be hosting bi-weekly live streams of the game to show off design and development aspects. Althought not many details of the game are known at this time, Press Play uploaded a short teaser highlighting how the game will make people react.
Knoxville is a third-person, multiplayer action game that deals with fragile alliances and survival, in a game show setting. It’s inspired by films like “The Running Man” and “The Hunger Games,” and players must work together and against each other. And this is just the beginning: Press Play’s community will get the chance to engage with the studio throughout Knoxville’s open development.
