GameTomo has officially launched the mech action title Project Nimbus on Steam, with a PlayStation 4 version coming soon.

The game's launch was accompanied by a new story trailer which gives fans an overview of the story as well as a look at some cutscenes and gameplay. Project Nimbus has players accept missions where they must pilot a mech throughout 16 different locations. The game features a variety of weapons loadouts including, smart missiles, laser blades, particle cannons, floating laser shields, rail guns, and auto-attacking and defending psycho drones.

Recently, the game was revealed to be coming to PlayStation 4 as Project Nimbus: Code Mirai and will feature Act 1 and Act 2 of the PC version. The console version will be using Unreal Engine 4 to upgrade the graphics for the console hardware. The game has also been balanced and adjusted, with new actions and user interface to make it approachable to new players.

Additionally, Project Nimbus tells a story of a pilot who is in the middle of war between three factions that has already destroyed most of earth. Through the missions players will uncover the reasons why these soldiers fight for a decaying planet.

Project Nimbus is available now on Steam for $14.99.
