Bandai Namco released today the first teaser for a new game code named “PROJEKT1514.”

At the moment, not much is known, besides the mentions of key elements like “military battlefields, bullets, shots and dark atmosphere.” We also get the questions “Which world is this?” “What are they fighting for?”

The one thing we know is that the new game is developed by Osaka-based studio Dimps, that recently worked on the¬†Dragon Ball Xenoverse series. Incidentally, and appropriately considering the setting that we see in this game, the studio also worked on Sony Intereactive Entertainment’s PS Vita exclusive Freedom Wars.

Nothing else was shared, and there was no mention of platforms or release windows in the announcement, so we’ll have to wait for more information. In the meanwhile, you can check out the trailer below.

With Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show coming soon on  August 22nd and September 21st respectively, there certainly will be plenty of chances to hear more.

Looks like Bandai Namco is actively working on churning out new IPs. Recently they also announced the new JRPG Code Vein by the God Eater team, and that definitely looks very promising, as you might have seen in the latest batch of screenshots and gameplay video.
