Protect Your Country from Spies and Foreign Powers in Tropico 5's Espionage Expansion

The new expansion for Tropico 5, “Espionage“, will release on May 28 for PC, Mac, SteamOS for $20 USD. The expansion will come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360 versions at a later date.

Tropico 5: Espionage will introduce a new campaign titled, “The Maltese Toucan” consisting of six new missions. New gameplay elements include Security Checkpoints that you can install at borders to capture enemy agents and throw them in the new Dungeon building. A Spy Academy so you may train your own spies to steal technology from enemy countries. A Ministry of Information to introduce data privacy laws, and a Police Blimp and Mechanized Garrison for handling any state of emergency.

For those who prefer a numbers approach,

  • Nine spy and military themed buildings
  • Four island maps
  • Four music tracks
  • Four avatar costumes (including “Evening Gown” and “Tuxedo”)
  • Six avataraccessories
  • New sandbox tasks and events matching the spy theme
  • All content and mechanics carry over to sandbox and multiplayer modes.

Espionage for Tropico 5 will be availalbe on May 28 for PC, Mac and SteamOS for £14.99/€19.99/$19.99.
