It's the first Wednesday before the start of the new month which means it's time to learn what games PlayStation Plus users will be getting for free during the month of August 2019. This month seems to be pretty good as users, technically, get access to three games and an expansion, all of which have received great scores over the years.Kicking things off we have the WipEout Omega Collection, which nets you access to WipEout 2048, WipEout HD, and the Fury HD expansion. This collection needs little to no introduction, but for those that don't know, WipEout is a high-speed, anti-gravity racing series set in the future, developed by the now-defunct SCE Studio Liverpool, which closed in 2012. Players will have access to 26 tracks during their time with the collection and it can be played entirely in VR.On the complete opposite side of the spectrum, players will also have access to Sniper Elite 4. This third-person shooter, developed by Rebellion Developments, puts players in the role of, you guessed it, a military sniper. The series is known for its brutal X-Ray kills, which shows exactly how your bullet is penetrating each person you kill, and they are as present as ever in this title. These titles will be available starting on Tuesday, August 5, 2019, which means you have until then to grab both Horizon Chase Turbo (another racing game) and Detroit: Become Human, the latter of which was added at the last minute by Sony in an unprecedented move (the title was originally meant to be Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2019).
