Get prepared for many open-world games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium library as Sony reveals the new line-up for July 2022.

Prior to today's official announcement, we heard from a credible source that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is included in this month's addition to the new tiers of PlayStation Plus as well as a number of Assassin's Creed titles. Hopefully, the leak turned out to be true, but Sony also has some more surprises for PlayStation gamers as well.

Let's have a look at the full list of games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium in July 2022:

  • Assassin's Creed Unity (PS4)
  • Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (PS4)
  • Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered (PS4)
  • Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry (PS4)
  • Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection (PS4)
  • Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade (PS5)
  • Marvel's Avengers (PS4 & PS5)
  • Saints Row IV: Re-Elected (PS4)
  • Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell (PS4)
  • Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition (PS5)
  • Stray (PS4 & PS5)
  • Ice Age: Scrat's Nutty Adventure (PS4)
  • Jumanji: The Video Game (PS4)
  • Paw Patrol on a Roll (PS4)
  • ReadySet Heroes (PS4)

All the titles above will be available for free for PS Plus Extra and Premium members on July 19. There are also two more additions for Premium members, which are supposed to expand the service's classic catalog. Both titles below originally belong to PSP.

  • No Heroes Allowed!
  • LocoRoco Midnight Carnival

Except for Stray, none of the new additions are Day One launches. Also, Marvel's Avengers was already available in PlayStation Now, which is now replaced by the new PS Plus memberships.

This month's addition is going to be incredible for open-world enthusiasts as the list features 7 fully open-world games as well as two semi-open-world titles.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is a worthy addition for those who would love to give the game another shot with the new Intergrade character.

That being said, the list already lacks any recent titles. Also, it doesn't include any big PlayStation first-party games such as PS5's launch titles. There is no doubt that PlayStation gamers would like to receive games like Demon's Souls Sackboy A Big Adventure, Spider-Man Miles Morales, or even The Last of Us Part 2 which was released two years earlier.
