PS Plus March 2022 Free Games Reveal Time
Sony will announce its PS Plus March 2022 free games on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at around 4:30pm GMT. This will mean before 11am EDT for gamers in North America who are waiting to find out what is coming next. There have been times when Sony has elected to wait to make the final announcement, but this is not expected to happen this week.
One more reveal is expected to be made by Sony next week for PlayStation Now, but this will be separate from what we find out about PlayStation Plus. February 23 is when we will find out about the new PS Plus March 2022 lineup, but it won’t be when they are released. The new roster of titles will go live on Tuesday, March 1, with the reset usually set for the afternoon in the UK.

While there is a lack of leaks this week regarding PlayStation Plus, subscribers have noticed something a little odd on the PS Store. It’s been noted by TechRadar and others that Kung Fu brawler Sifu has appeared in certain instances with a PS Plus icon attached to its image, something that can only be seen on existing PS Plus games, like Persona 5 Strikers.
Many believe this to be a glitch, and it is something that has happened in the past on PS4 and PS5 games. Others point out that a game that has only just come out would probably not be the perfect fit for a giveaway, so soon after the release date.
Confirmed PS Plus Games for March 2022
While we wait to find out what new games will be arriving next month, we don know about one inclusion early. The next-gen version of GTA Online will be released as a free download on March 15, for all those customers with a next-gen console. It should be noted that this offer does not include the base game and is aimed at gamers waiting to jump into Grand Theft Auto Online for PS5. A message from Rockstar Games explains some of the new features that will be available, telling fans earlier this month:
“GTA Online for PS5 and Xbox Series includes a range of improvements, including the ability to skip the GTAV Story Mode prologue before entering Online, and an all-new GTA Online Tutorial. New GTA Online players will now enter the Career Builder, with instant access to their choice of one of four illicit businesses — Biker, Executive, Nightclub Owner, or Gunrunner — and a sizable GTA$ windfall to help select a property, high-end vehicle, and the firepower required to kickstart their enterprise. Returning players will also have the option to restart their character and take advantage of the Career Builder at any time.”
