If you're into city builders and simulators, the PS Plus games for May 2020 may be up your alley.

Similar to last month, there will be a total of two games offered via PS Plus. The PS4 edition of Paradox Interactive's Cities: Skylines and GIANTS Software's popular Farming Simulator 19 will be free starting Tuesday, May 5, 2020. You will have until Monday, June 1, 2020, to redeem the free games.

With the May 2020 PS Plus games coming soon, the April 2020 offerings will be expiring. You have between now and May 4, 2020, to grab last month's free games, which included Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Dirt Rally 2.0.

In order to redeem the free PS Plus games for May, you will need to be a PS Plus subscriber. In addition to the free games, there will be select game deals only for subscribers as well. You can subscribe via the PlayStation Store in several month tiers; a full-year membership costs $59.99.

In a recent "leak," the May 2020 PS Plus games were seemingly revealed with an incredible lineup. The image floating around showed Dark Souls Remastered and Dying Light being offered. However, we now know that leak was totally fake.

Personally, I am pretty excited to finally check out Farming Simulator 19. I've always wanted to delve into it, but could never really had the time to check it out. I played a lot of Cities: Skylines on PC and it is probably my favorite city builder. It is pretty easy to understand the various mechanics and basics but definitely gets harder as your city progresses. It's one of those games I would just lose hours in.

PlayStation isn't the only company bringing free games to its online subscribers in May. The Xbox Games with Gold for next month were also announced and include Overlord 2, V-Rally 4, Sensible World of Soccer, and Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr.
