Today Weekly Famitsu had a spread introducing the newly announced PS Vita Exclusive Idol Death Game TV by D3 Publisher, that will be released in Japan on October 20th.

The game is truly a “death game,” where idols part of the group “project 47” will have to fight it out in a western-style mansion. The player will take control of one of those idols (divided in three groups: Team Happy, Team Smile and Team Passion) in exploring the mansion and talking with her rivals. Then they will compete based on dancing, singing and more. Those who will be discarded in this selection will be killed.

It certainly sounds pretty Danganronpa-ish to me. You can check out the first screenshots below, keeping in mind that we’re looking at magazine scans, so they’re not direct feed quality.
