Today during a livestream from the Dengeki Thanksgiving event in Tokyo FuRyu showcased the first gameplay of its upcoming JRPG Caligula.

It basically looks like Persona on steroids, with some great music and the “imaginary chain” system on top, that allows the player to visualize the effect of attacks in the characters’ imagination before executing them.

Caligula will launch in Japan on June 23rd exclusively for PS Vita. The game’s scenario will be written by Tadashi Satomi, who also wrote the script of Persona and Persona 2.
