PS Vita Exclusive JRPG Caligula Coming West, Courtesy of Atlus

Every time I wrote an article about FuRyu’s Caligula, someone asked “is it coming west?” It was definitely not a given, because it’s on PS Vita, and we didn’t get all of FuRyu’s games over here.

The good news is that since Caligula has a lot of points in common with Persona, Atlus USA simply went ahead and took it under its wing, and announced today that it’ll come west as a digital release in Spring 2017.

Interestingly, that involves both North America and Europe, and the game will retain its Japanese audio track with English subtitles.

I’m sure some will groan at the “digital-only” bit, but I’ll call this a win.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
