Today Gust sent a new batch of information, screenshots and artwork on the upcoming PS Vita Exclusive time-traveling JRPG Chronos Materia (that we introduced here a couple weeks ago), that will be released in Japan on September the 26th.

We meet a new character named Licorice, an optimistic and bright girl that hates sadness. Others believe her to be whimsical, but deep down she's actually a very stern realist, even if she doesn't show it often.

More importantly, we get a glimpse on the Homunculus system. The Homunculus is an artificial life form that will help the heroes in their quest. It's created thanks to the alchemical abilities of the main character Iris and can be customized in voice, appearance and class. Homunculi can be Witches, Spellswords, Summoners, Star Singers, Amaterasu Fighters, Valkyrie, Priestesses of the Moon, and Nature Priests.

Below you can see a gallery that shows Licorice, the classes available to the Homunculus and a few assorted screenshots. Now we can only hope to hear an announcement about a possible western release soon.
