Sekai Project announced that they will delay the release of Root Double- Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition on PlayStation Vita.

Originally set to release for PlayStation Vita’s PSN on March 8, Root Double- Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition will now release in the west on March 13 due to last minute changes made by the publisher. The visual novel was originally Kickstarted in February 2016 and has since been released on PC, but the planned PS Vita version has suffered a few delays since the campaign ended.

Root Double- Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition is set in the 2030 and follows two main protagonists: Watase Kasasagi, a rescue squad captain who has lost his memories in the hours after the incident, and Natsuhiko Tenkawa, a student who is piecing together clues during the six days before the event.

After an explosion in a nuclear research facility, characters are trapped and must make their escape. Throughout the game players will gain or lose trust with characters as they shape the outcome of the story with their choices during dialog scenes.

Root Double- Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition is currently available on steam and holds a “Very Positive” review standing with those who have played the game.
