PS Vita/PSP Action Game Toukiden Gets Beautiful Anime Short, Screencaps, More to Come, and a Manga

The action/fighting game Toukiden will be released for the PS Vita and the PSP on June the 27th (In Japan, while the western release is confirmed but still TBA 2013), and Koei Tecmo is going all out to promote it.

Today the publisher released a lovely five minute-long anime short by the popular animation company STUDIO4°C (the same that worked on the Berserk Golden Age Arc and on cult movies like Memories, Steamboy and Spriggan) introducing the story. According to the official press release, more episodes will come in the future.

In addition to that, the seventh issue of the magazine Samurai Ace will include a prequel manga focused on the game. You can enjoy the short below, together with a series of official screencaps.
