Today Gust released a large batch of screenshots and artwork of the upcoming PS3 exclusive JRPG Ar Nosurge, that will hit the Japanese shelves on March 6th.

We learn more about the Zapping mechanic. Basically our heroes will be divided in two parties, and the action will then shift between them, showing the plot from two different points of view.

In several cities there’s also an alchemy shop where it’s possible to combine different items to produce new and possibly more powerful ones.

The battle system has also been further detailed. As the Harm (Harmonium) gauge in the bottom right of the screen reaches level 4 it’s possible to activate a special status called “Harm Burst,” that prompts the hero to continuously attack the enemy for a certain period of time, and also opens up the possibility to use a more powerful kind of song magic.

It’s also possible to use a “friend technique” as the intimacy level with the heroines raises. It can be uses only once during every battle and causes a variety of effects, including damage to the enemy.

Three new characters have also been introduced. The bunny-eared Mako, that runs a general store, the faithful follower of the emperor Renaruru, and the geeky Shirataka.
