PS3 Firmware 3.60 Now Live

The firmware update that PS Plus members have been waiting for is finally here. This firmware will mostly be remembered as officially bringing cloud storage to the PlayStation 3 (it’s for PS Plus members only right now). Don’t worry normal PSN users, you get a few nifty technical updates as well. Most of them will simply be for helping your PS3 perform better; however, two cool features (that all PS3 users will get) allow you to opt for additional security and the ability to set a timeout session for your controller. It isn’t an amazing update by any means but everyone will be prompted to download firmware 3.60 upon powering on your PS3.

Pretty much your above average gamer who plays games profusely and appreciates them even more. Been gaming since the NES but is in love with anything PlayStation. No I am not a typical fanboy...I appreciate each system for their strengths and recognize their weaknesses. I just love the PS brand. (Think along the lines as someone who likes to read but loves one author in particular). Ever since my time as #2 in the world at Resistance 2, I have taken video games much more seriously. Don't get me wrong, I am a laid back, fun guy to game with...but I always play to win.
