A few days ago Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia released a batch of screenshots and info of the upcoming 2.0 firmware update codenamed “Masamune.”

Since the screenshots were in Japanese, and not all of you can read the language of the rising sun, we translated them for you, and you can check them all out below.

The screenshots give us a glimpse on the Share Play feature, on the YouTube app, on the USB music app, on the new broadcast features, the updated Live from PlayStation app and on the renewed Library.

Of course the final translations that Sony will adopt on the western version of the firmware may differ slightly, but the meaning should be the same.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
