PS4 and PS Vita Invade the Cold Japanese North with PlayStation Fan Event in Sapporo; Pictures Inside

Xbox One Fanfest in Osaka wasn’t the only console fan event held today in Japan. At the other end of the country, in the northern city of Sapporo, PlayStation fans crowded the Sapporo Factory Hall for the second date of the PlayStation Live Circuit 2015, that is bringing Sony’s line-up from Tokyo Game Show across Japan.

While Sapporo was a little out of my reach (as much as I’d really like to visit, I hear it’s a lovely city), we still got pictures aplenty from PlayStation Japan and Twitter users Gy3_REGAME@言迷旅団, Daisuke IshidateDorio, あかっしー and ニコボウイ.

On the show floor fan from Hokkaido had a chance to try the games that were playable at Tokyo Game Show, including the recently renamed PlayStation VR. You can check them all out in the gallery below.

If you live around the opposite extreme of Japan, in Kyushu, don’t worry. The PlayStation Live Circuit will come for you too on October 24th at the Skala Espacio in Fukuoka.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
