Last Friday I was given a chance to try out a Chalice Dungeon in Bloodborne directly at From Software's HQ in Shibuya, Tokyo, and below you can see how it looks in a rather large batch of pictures taken directly from the screen.

The dungeon was formed with the Chalice of Pthumeru, which is the first, basic chalice you find in the game. It included three consecutive levels, each guarded by a boss. Each boss room required unlocking via a level placed elsewhere in the level.

The thing was also absolutely brutal in its challenge, and while it was still fair, like in all Souls games, some enemies proved to be too much for me.

But enough words. Without further ado, I leave you with the images.

[Special thanks to Francesco Bossetti from Everyeye.it, who not only proved to be the most proficient of the bunch at the game, but also served as my "head model," since Sony always wants a player to be in the frame in front of a game's screen]
