Upcoming PS4 exclusive Bloodborne has been rated by the Australian board of classification ahead of its release this coming March.

From Software's hack-and-slash horror title has been rated as acceptable for those aged 15 and over by the Australian classification board, noting that the game features strong horror themes, bloody violence with some mild language and sexual content as well as online interactivity, which depending on the friends you play with, the language may well go beyond "mild."

It's nothing less than expected in all honesty, although given Australia's stringent rules surrounding video games, it's a little surprising to see it getting the MA15+ rating rather than the R18+ that was recently awarded to Mortal Kombat X.

Bloodborne is due out on March 24th in the US, March 25th in Europe and March 27th in the UK.
