PS4 Exclusive Bloodborne's Producer Confirms That The Demo Was Made Easier, But Not "Easy"

Gamers in the US and Europe had a chance to get to grip with the first playable demo of the upcoming PS4 exclusive Bloodborne at PAX Prime and at Gamescom, and as I wrote in my hands-on preview it was quite challenging even if not impossible.

The game’s producer Masaaki Yamagiwa confirmed on Twitter that the difficulty was toned down to make things faster:

The difficulty’s been lowered a bit since there’s not enough time for the usual trial and error gameplay.

Yet, if you’re between those still waiting to play at PAX Prime, don’t think that it’s going to be “easy.”

Oh, you think we made the demo EASY? Please. Give us some credit. Rest assured, you’ll have plenty to sink your teeth into =P

Personally, I can definitely testify that the demo was not easy at all despite the fact that I’m no stranger to the Souls series. Considering that its difficulty was toned down, I can’t wait to see how brutally the game will kill me, over and over, when it’ll be released next year.
