PS4 Exclusive Deep Down Gets Fantastic Screenshot Showing Wrath Dungeon to Celebrate Famitsu Article

on December 19, 2013 4:40 AM

Today the Japanese weekly magazine Famitsu published a feature article on Capcom’s Deep Down, and the developer  tweeted about it to let everyone know. Here’s a translation of the original message in Japanese:

On the issue of Weekly Famitsu released today there’s new information on Deep Down! Please check it out by all means, as we have introduced new variants of the dungeons! Here’s a new glance at a dungeon with a different atmosphere from before.

The tweet included a screenshot, that you can see above, and the atmosphere is definitely different. It also shows absolutely spectacular lighting and reflections.

And the information on Famitsu is indeed quite interesting, as it allows us to understand what we’re seeing portrayed in the screenshot: it’s a dungeon characterized by the feeling of wrath (every dungeon will have its own peculiar feeling), that engulfs it in raging flames. At the moment it’s not yet clear if those effects will have actual gameplay mechanics tied to them.

They Delved too Greedily and too Deep…
