Capcom just released some new artwork and information on the upcoming PS4 free to play exclusive Deep Down, that will begin its open beta in Japan around the local launch of the PS4.

We get to meet the monster called “Splitter,” that was shown only in passing in previous trailers, and that have a cut through the middle of their body starting under the neck. This makes them them impervious to physical attacks, including spears. They attack using scythe-like sharp talons attacked to their arms.

Below you can see two piece of artwork featuring the splitters. Capcom also promised more information on the game’s dungeons coming next week.
