PS4 Exclusive Driveclub Gets New Info About Future Updates, Difficulty and Bug Fixes

Driveclub is in contant evolution, and Game Director Paul Rustchynsky has provided fans today with more information on the upcoming updates and bug fixes the game is going to receive.

Currently challenges have a limit of 600 participants, and Rustchynsky mentioned that the plan is to increase it. He also explained that at the moment invites count as participants whether they accept or not, and promised that it will be fixed in the future.

Rustchynsky then confirmed that the team has noticed problems with ghosts disappearing and reappearing, and is looking into it.

Finally, he mentioned that the team is looking to make improvements to the overall difficulty, and adjusting future tours by making them easier.

Incidentally, he also confirmed that the upcoming DLC will go live in Europe on the 28th (which probably mean that they’ll be on the North American store on the 27th, even if Rustchynsky didn’t mention that).

Personally, I absolutely love Driveclub‘s challenging tours, but I can’t deny that some are really, really difficult (especially due to how narrow some tracks are, which is refreshing, but also ramops the difficulty up considerably). We’ll see how Evolution will handle it in the future.
