Evolutuion Studios has been updating its PS4 exclusive racing game Driveclub rather massively in the past year, and more is coming, as showcased by Game Director Paul Rustchynsky on Twitter.

First and foremost, we get to see how the upcoming Tire deformation effect will look via a lovely screenshot.

We also get to see a video, as Rustchynsky explains that it’s a subtle effect.

The effect will be purely visual, as the game already simulates the physics of tire deformation.

Rustchynsky also teased a “great update” coming in December, with “great free content” . Next week we’ll know more details.

Among other things, it’ll allow us to change difficulty for tour events.

We’re also going to get info about the new upcoming cars:

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to hear what the new update will involve. Server troubles aside, Driveclub was great at release, but it has really come a long way since then,
