Today’s issue of Weekly Famitsu included a spread on Gravity Rush 2, which will release on January 18th, 2017 in Europe, January 19th in Japan and January 20th in North America.

The new screenshots showcase the Ghost City, that can be found floating in the alternate dimension. A gravity research facility has gone out of control and the city has gained an ego and has become a ghost city with an artificial brain. Inside there is a maze where space and time are warped.

We also see some abilities for the Lunar and Jupiter Styles that Kat can use.

The Lunar Style’s gravity vortex is executed by pressing and holding the circle (which will probably be X in the west) button, and you can generate a more powerful one by consuming the SP gauge. We also see more of the wormhole kick.

By pressing circle (X in the west) in Jupiter style you can compress items in an ultra-high gravity bubble and then hurl them at the enemy. If you hold circle, the bubble becomes even bigger, causing more damage. This is named Debris Ball.

last, but not least, we see artwork for five of Kat’s costumes. The article reveals that there are over 10 in the game.
