PS4 Exclusive NiOh looks Bloody Fantastic in Plenty Screenshots and Video From the Demo

NiOh‘s demo has been released in Europe and Asia, and it looks really fantastic.

If you still don’t have access to the demo, you can check it out below in screenshots and videos (videos are courtesy of YouTube users PlaystationXbox and Shirrako).

It’s worth mentioning that the second video shows the whole demo, but it includes compression artifacts because it’s the recording of a livestream. Yet, it should give you a good idea of just how extensive the demo is, especially for a demo.

Incidentally, the game doesn’t just look fantastic. It’s also really awesome from what I could see so far. The impressions about it being a souls-like in Japan weren’t wrong, as the similarities are all over the place, from the level of challenge to the use of healing items and stones.

Basically, if you love Dark Souls, you’ll feel fight at home with this game.

Incidentally, all the screenshots were taken in Movie Mode, which shows the game at its visual best. You can check the difference with Action mode here.
