Remember Without Memory by the Russian studio Dinosaurum Games? The development team went silent for almost exactly a year, but now they're back with a new trailer and new screenshots. Apparently, they are currently looking for a publisher, without which the project probably won't be completed. Incidentally, the studio has also been renamed "Dino Games."

"We are pleased to present Without Memory Pre-Alpha gameplay and several cutscenes. It’s a working prototype which may contain some faults, so it will still require a lot of time and effort to achieve the desired result. At the moment we are looking for a game publisher without whose support our team will not be able to complete the project."

The trailer, that you can see below, is pre-alpha code running in real time on a PS4 console, and if you're not familiar with the story, Dino Games provided a handy summary.

"The story springs from the dystopian world, and its main character, the policeman Leo Evans, epitomizes consumer society. Once, while getting back home from work, in his own apartment he walks straight into a federal detachment of peacekeepers, who suspects his wife in abetting terrorist organization Insiders and takes her in high-tech prison Animatorium for a change of consciousness. Having failed to resist his wife’s arrest and having lost her, some time later Leo changes his mindset and joins the Insiders to fight against the existing order. But soon he understands that this problem roots far beyond his home world…"

The game was announced back in 2014 as a PS4 exclusive heavily inspired by the work of Quantic Dream, then the developers resorted to crowdfunding, drawing harsh criticism for the not exactly stellar quality of the trailer they published with the pitch.

Afterwards, they removed the trailer and canceled the crowdfunding campaign, admitting that the attempt was made too early in production to gain the trust of backers, promising to revise the concept of the game focusing on storytelling and atmosphere, and to refine the quality of the character models and more.

After that, the studio has been silent for a whole year, which has been used to try to steer the project in the right direction. You can check out the results below.
