Today Nippon Ichi Software announced the Japanese release date of the upcoming PS4 exclusive  The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2, which will appear on the local shelves on February 23rd.

On top of that, during a livestream hosted by the magazine Dengeki PlayStation starring President Souhei Niikawa, it was revealed that the game will support PS4 Pro with the frame rate bumped up at 60 FPS and improved visuals.

This is topped by the game’s first trailer, which you can see below, and by the first look at gameplay, which you can enjoy in the second video starting at the 01:18:00 mark.

Incidentally, the second video also includes another playthrough or the demo of The Last Guardian that we recorded last month in Tokyo. You can find it at the 00:13:30 mark. You can consider it a bonus.

At the bottom of the post you can also see the newly announced Limited Edition for Japan, including a DLC with a sword and an accessory fo Cerca, a figure, an artbook, a soundtrack and a special box. Nippon Ichi will also sell a Premium Set in its own online store including a Hundred Knight stuffed toy, a tapestry and a set of tin badges.
