Many are eagerly awaiting Yakuza 6’s Japanese release date, and today Sega announced that it will be unveiled on July 26th, during an event at the UDX Theater in Akihabara, Tokyo, from 1 PM to 1:45 PM local time.

Luckily, we don’t just get an announcement of an announcement today, as the developer also released the screenshot that you can see above. While most of it is taken by Kazuma Kiryu’s face, there’s a new element that can be glimpsed: the stoic protagonist his getting his suit back, as opposed to the definitely more grungy outfit that he wore in the demo released earlier this year.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
