PS4 Gets Free Dinosaur Theme by Truant Pixel and Free Doom Theme for PlayStation Plus Members

Today is Friday 13th, but must also be free PS4 theme day, as two of them have been released.

The first is by prolific indie team Truant Pixel, and has been released only on the North American PSN. It features dinosaurs, so what’s not to love? At the bottom of the post you can see screenshots and two videos, with and without game tiles.

As usual the theme is fully dynamic and comes with its own music, sound effects and icons.

Of course you can easily download it even if you’re European by using a North American account. Once installed, it will be usable on all your accounts as long as the PS4 is set to primary for them.

That said, Europe is getting a free treat of its own today, at least for PlayStation Plus subscribers, in the form of a Doom static theme available on the European PSN.

The art is quite nice, but unfortunately it’s the usual low-effort publisher made theme with no custom music, icons or sound effects. That said, you can see it in the gallery at the bottom of the post.

We’ll have to see if the theme will move to the other side of the big pond next week.
