PlayStation announced that its lineup of "PlayStation Hits" will expand this fall. Games in the Hits lineup receive a unique box with red "PlayStation Hits" stripe across the top, which signifies their commercial and/or critical success. The best part, though? All PlayStation Hits titles are available for just $19.99. The following games made the cut, and you'll be able to find them at this cheaper price point as of October 4.

  • Far Cry 4
  • God of War
  • Gran Turismo Sport
  • Rayman Legends
  • The Crew
  • Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
  • Watch Dogs

It's a bit of a mixed bag. The Crew series has always looked great, but it doesn't always play so well. Gran Turismo Sport, though, is a cool, arcadey release for the classic racing series. Rayman Legends is wonderful, and God of War is, well, one of the best games of last year. Regardless, it's nice to see all of these games permanently on sale. Since you won't be paying an arm and a leg, picking one up only to realize that you don't really like it won't sting so badly.

The announcement comes on the heels of a summer expansion to the PlayStation hits roster. On June 28, God of War Remastered, Horizon: Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, Friday the 13th, Nioh, and Resident Evil 7 all became PlayStation Hits. You can find them at a retailer near you. Or, if you want to save a click or two, you can try to buy directly from PlayStation thanks to the opening of their new store.
