PS4 Made Available Again on Amazon Japan, Sells Out Once More

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia President Hiroshi Kawano promised that gamers that pre-ordered the PS4 before the end of the year in the archipelago of the rising sun would get their console by launch. The problem is that finding a pre-order open in Japan isn’t exactly easy.

The local branch of Amazon came to the rescue on December 26th, announcing new availability for the console on Twitter:

PS4amazonJPLike the previous batches, the window of opportunity didn’t last long, as the allocated units were sold out by this morning.

One thing is for sure: if the console keeps selling out every time it’s available for pre-order, we’re potentially looking at the Japanese re-enactment of the successful western launches on February 22nd. The Media Create charts that will be released on February 26th will definitely be interesting.
