Today Nippon Ichi Software released the first gameplay trailer of the PS4 port of the formerly PS Vita exclusive Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain.

We get to take a look at the main characters, including everyone’s favorite witch, and her arcane book, who is basically the player character.

We also see the dolls that can be created and used as party members, and lots of classic-style dungeon crawling gameplay. Of course, it’s a Nippon Ichi game, so you can expect bits and bobs of fanservice here and there.

The game is essentially a straight port from PS Vita, so there is not much in terms of new content, besides the implementation of new looks for the dolls and higher resolution.

The game will release soon in Japan, on September 26th, and we’ll see if the PS4 version will finally get NIS America to localize it for the west, since the PS Vita version never came stateside.

You can check out the trailer below, and a batch of screenshots in case you missed it.
