Today, citing data from Gfk, MCV reports that PS4 sales are up 204 percent week-over-week for the week ending Saturday, November 12th.

According the report, of the total PS4 sales for this period, 65 percent of them were from the PS4 Pro. Meanwhile, standard PS4 models (launch and slim) also rose 8.5 percent week-on-week.

The report also reveals that sales of the PS4 in the UK outpaced the Xbox One by 44 percent for the said week. The PS4 ended the week with a 53 percent hardware marketshare while the Xbox One garnered 37 percent.

However, this doesn't mean the Xbox One sold poorly for the week in the UK. In fact, it had quite a strong week, with sales of the console rising 85 percent. This likely due to the recent price cut of the original Xbox One models.

The PS4 Pro is currenlty available starting at $399 USD.
