PS4 “Share Play” Trailer from Japan is Absolutely Awesome; Beats the Western Ones by a Landslide

The western videos for the upcoming “Share Play” feature packed with the 2.0 firmware update of the PS4 were just rather dry explanations of how it’ll work.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia went a different route,¬†creating an actual story and taking an emotional approach to communicating the value of “share.”

If you’re curious about what I mean, you can check the video below. It tells the story of a Japanese college student oppressed by job hunting named Akiko,¬†who starts with a Share Play session with her brother and grows to become a shooter queen.

Awkward English aside, it’s really an awesome trailer, especially due to the perfectly matched music. Now all that’s missing is the release of “Masamune,” but it should just be a matter of hours.
