No one is doubting that the highly anticipated PS4 exclusive The Last of Us: Part 2 will be impressing fans of the series -- including Naughty Dog's Director, Neil Druckmann. With reports that the original The Last of Us won PlayStation's Game of the Decade, Druckmann took the news in stride letting gamers know that the quality will stay up there as long as they keep supporting him. And without a doubt, this sort of self-confidence in his studio's work is going to help ramp up the hype behind The Last of Us: Part 2The exact quote comes from Neil Druckmann's Twitter account -- retweeting the original results from the PlayStation survey. While it may be obvious to many PS4 gamers that the top honor would go to the beloved Naughty Dog franchise, it doesn't seem like Druckmann believed the win was a shoe-in. Instead, he addressed his "amazing fans" nothing that they will "keep working hard to create great games that make you proud."

And let's be honest -- the fanbase for The Last of Us Part 2 is amazing. In the past couple of weeks we've seen some simply incredible fan creations, including a Resident Evil 2 Remake mod that adds in Ellie. Then there was some of the recent TLoU artwork sketched out by a Disney artist which I'm all about. Or, alternatively, there was some of this breathtaking concept art that you can grab today to hand up in your home.

Speaking of the game's development, the title is around the corner. Originally rumored to be pushing a delay from the February deadline, developer Naughty Dog officially confirmed the three-month push. And honestly, take as long as you need Naughty Dog; the previously released trailer looks phenomenal, and there are plenty of amazing 2020 games to hold us over in the meantime.

As mentioned above, The Last of Us: Part 2 is expected to launch on May 29, 2020, exclusively on PS4. In the meantime, feel free to pre-order the game on Amazon to support the site and get the pre-order bonus.
