PS4 Version of World of Tanks Leaked by Sony’s Website; Screenshots Inside

on September 15, 2015 11:31 AM

Wargaming’s World of Tanks is massively successful on PC, and has also been released on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. If you don’t own a PC or a console by Microsoft, apparently you’ll be able to play the game as well, on PS4.

Apparently someone at Sony Japan pressed a button too early, and opened the game’s page to the public. It was available until a few minutes ago at this url, but has just been taken down again, probably in sight of an announcement coming at Tokyo Game Show.

This is what the site looked like.

Luckily, we also managed to salvage the screenshots, that you can see in the gallery at the bottom of the post. As you can see from the branding and buttons, they leave very few doubts on the upcoming announcement.

The page also mentioned that the release date is to be determined, and PlayStation Plus won’t be necessary to play (as with most free to play games with microtransactions).

We’ll keep you update on future developments, but we can pretty much expect an announcement in the next few days.
