Today Nihon Falcom announced that a demo of the PS4 version of its action JRPG Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will be released on the Japanese PlayStation Store.

The demo of the fast-action game will launch on March 24th, and will come with the ability of carrying over saves to the retail version, that will launch in Japan on May 25th.

It will include the Coral Forest level, and will let players taste the "Inferno" difficulty, which was added added to the PS4 version.

Of course, in order to download the demo, you need a Japanese PSN account, and if you don't have one yet, you can check out our extensive guide on how to create and maintain one.

The game will also launch in North America and Europe in the fall for PS4, PS Vita and PC via Steam, but we don't know whether we'll get a demo in English or not.
