Today Marvelous Entertainment updated the official site of Fate/Extella, coming out in Japan for PS4 and PS Vita on November 10th, and sent in a press release including plenty of screenshots in shiny 1080p.

We get to see artwork and screenshots for three returning characters: Artoria Pendragon (Saber), Mumei (Archer) and Gilgamesh (Archer).

We also get to finally see some gameplay, even if not with a formal trailer. A video was used as a background for the site, and you can see it below alongside the gallery. There’s no audio, but it’s better than nothing.

The press release also included info on some of the systems coming with the game.

Characters are not limited to the ground, and can dash in the air to perform powerful diving attacks. They can also guard to block enemy strikes.

Battles are won by controlling areas of the battlefield, that can be gained by conquering keys. Once you get fifteen, victory is yours. It’s important not to focus only on annihilating large number of enemies, but also on protecting your areas.

There are also special attacks named “Extra Maneuvers,” that can be triggered by consuming a gauge. The gauge actually refills by hitting enemies with it, so as long as you keep hitting, you can keep up the extra maneuver combo.

Last, but not least, cross-save will be possible between PS4 and PS Vita versions.
