Midboss announced that their port of 2064: Read Only Memories will be delayed indefinitely due to technical issues.
The point-and-click adventure game first released on the PC in 2015, was revealed for its console debut last month and even given a release date set for August 16. However, the studio ran into issues when they attempted to layer too many new features onto the already fragile framework. These new features have already been revealed to include a revamped voice cast of well known individuals.
The company makes it clear that they are not cancelling the project, but they don’t know how long it will take to fix the problems that they’ve encountered. However, it was teased that perhaps they can make up for the extra waiting with something unannounced.
