Koei Tecmo is holding a popularity vote among Dead or Alive heroines to decide the nine who will be included in Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 for PS4 and PS Vita.
The vote is based on the purchase of dedicated themes on the Japanese and Asian PlayStation Stores, and today the publisher released an update of the results, which you can see below.
- Marie Rose: 17.6%
- Honoka: 15.1%
- Kasumi: 12.3%
- Ayane: 8.6%
- Kokoro: 8.3%
- Nyotengu: 7.7%
- Hitomi: 5.9%
- Momiji: 4.5%
- Helena: 4.3%
- Leifang: 4.2%
- Tina: 3.8%
- Mila: 2.7%
- Rachel: 1.8%
- Christie: 1.6%
- Lisa: 1.5%
Compared to the results posted a few days ago, Helena overtook Leifang by a hair, entering the safe zone (only the first nine ranked will be implemented in the game). The first three, Marie Rose, Honoka and Kasumi, also increased their lead.
A change can be seen at the bottom as well, with Christie overtaking Lisa, who is now dead last, even if both have little hope of making it into the final nine.
I guess now we'll see a battle between fans of Helena and Leifang for the ninth and last safe place. The final result will be announced on September 17th at Koei Tecmo's Tokyo Game Show booth, so there's still time for things to change further.
Personally, my vote would go to Helena, but considering that only those who purchase the themes in Japan and Asia can influence the results, I'll just have to cheer from the side lines.
