Today Weekly Famitsu had a large feature on the upcoming PS4 and PS Vita exclusive Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. Of course, it included screenshots aplenty.

The game will launch of February 25th in Japan, and there’s no release date for the west. For the moment Koei Tecmo seems to be rather reluctant about releasing it westwards. It was mentioned that it could happen after adapting the content to western taste, which is quite sad.

The article also mentions that a variety of activities from previous games will make their comeback, and the PS4 version of the game will be powered by an upgraded version of the Soft Engine, aptly named Soft Engine 2.0. It will provide better shaking and skin textures compared to its predecessor.

We also get details on the collector's edition, that will be kind of reminiscent of those for Dead or Alive 5.

Each version will include a copy of the game an Xtreme Sexy Costume F-Set, a gravure photo book, a set of playing cards and a 3D mouse pad with breasts. The PS4 version will cost 13,800 yen, while the PS Vita version will cost 12,800 yen.

The "Strongest Package," exclusive to Koei Tecmo's own online retail outlet Gamecity and Amazon, will come with both version and nine waterproof bathroom posters. It will cost a whopping 29,800 yen ($250).

You can check out the new screenshots below, and check out the first footage.
